Key Features of the Canary:

ROUTINE
See that your loved one is:
✧ Up and about in the morning;
✧ Has been to the kitchen at normal mealtimes;
✧ Is going to bed at the usual time;
✧ Are bathroom visits are more frequent?

TEMPERATURE
See if:
✧ The lounge is too cold during the day;
✧ Get a text if the bedroom falls below 12 degrees;
✧ Or if the house is warm, ensure water is provided;

 

CARE VISITS
Using the visitor card see:
✧ That the carer has been at the usual time;
✧ Meals are delivered at the right time;
✧ Get a text if you want to speak to the carer when she arrives;

DOOR ACTIVITY
See at a glance if:
✧ The front door is opened late at night;
✧ The house is unoccupied;
✧ Get an e mail if the front door is left open for more
than 10 minutes;
