How Does It Work?
Easy to install, the Companion Mini provides peace of mind by monitoring the risks and activities of those who have epilepsy. The device is designed to be placed in the center of the bed between the base and the mattress. When in place the Companion Mini monitors activity until movements associated with seizures are recognised. Verified and ongoing seizures then result in the transmission of alerts to a hand held pager, meaning a family member, loved one or carer can be on hand to assist immediately.
Maximising efficiency. It provides a very cost effective tele-care solution whilst avoiding the need for a telephone line or monitoring centre service which is often not required when full time care is being provided.
