App
The centre of all our products, our mobile app allows care professionals and family members to monitor, care for and interact with service users 24/7 without being physically present.
Smart Hub
Our Smart Hub is at the cutting edge of voice activated technology. Activated through Alexa via its speaker dock, our Hub software on a high quality tablet display allows the user to do many things.
Smart Watch
Wearables are big in the care industry but most providers rely on old, outdated technology. We’ve taken the theory behind telecare and updated it for the 21st century.
Personal Alarm
Our wearable personal alarm is your support lifeline that gives you peace of mind that you’re being looked after wherever you are.
Camera
Responsibly keep watch over those you care about most with our internal camera. This rotating Wi-Fi enabled camera includes two-way audio via the built-in speaker and microphone and delivers clear video.
Sensors
Our home sensors work to give a better picture of what’s happening in the background of the home. What’s the temperature? Did they leave the back door open? Have they made a cup of tea yet today?

The App
The centre of all our products, our mobile app allows care professionals and family members to monitor, care for and interact with service users 24/7 without being physically present.
The app delivers real-time push notifications to carers when an incident is detected, allowing them to view the data collected from the products and even talk directly to the user. Multiple patients can be managed from one place with our easy-to-use app.
REQUIREMENTS
Smartphone running either Android or iOS
Smart Hub
Our Smart Hub is at the cutting edge of voice activated technology. Activated through Alexa via its speaker dock, our Hub software on a high quality tablet display allows the user to do many things such as request shopping list items which alert the carers and relatives straight away, as well as dictate a message, listen to the radio, ask about the weather, request a joke, and make video calls to app users simply by saying specific commands out loud.
Acting as a screensaver, the Hub displays a digital photo gallery of images uploaded in the mobile app allowing families to share special moments together, and becomes a discreet way of adding an extra level of care to the home. The Hub is easy to use, providing an extra level of visual and audio support for those who may be isolated.
REQUIREMENTS
The Hub comes with our inclusive app and requires our subscription service to function. The voice activated features of our system require the tablet to remain docked into the speaker, and the tablet is charged through that speaker dock.
Smart Watch
Wearables are big in the care industry but most providers rely on old, outdated technology. We’ve taken the theory behind telecare and updated it for the 21st century.
Our smartwatch automatically detects when the wearer falls and sends an alert to the carer’s phone, providing a familiar voice when they’re in need instead of a call centre operator.
Our smartwatch also has geolocation settings to help find a confused or wandering wearer, a panic button, medication reminders, activity reminders and a step counter. It can detect heart rate to establish patterns and keep carers informed of any changes. On top of it all it looks stylish, just like a regular watch.
The item comes with a pre-installed SIM. Coverage may vary.
REQUIREMENTS
The watch requires our inclusive Android/iOS mobile app plus
our subscription service to function.
Personal Alarm
Our wearable personal alarm is your support lifeline that gives you peace of mind that you’re being looked after wherever you are. This small device is about the size of a car key and can be put in your pocket, hung around your neck, or worn on your wrist.
It’s packed full of important features to ensure the wearer’s well-being and potentially save a life. With a great battery life, the personal alarm can automatically detect when the wearer has left a designated area or has had a fall and notifies the carer. Pinpoint exactly where the wearer is and speak to them easily.
It works everywhere, just like a mobile speaker phone, but inst ead of having to unlock or fiddle with small buttons and struggle to see a screen, our personal alarm has one large SOS button, which when pressed will phone up to 9 configurable emergency contacts in turn until one answers. Perfect for your loved ones to give them a v ital
confidence boost. An optional charging dock allows for easy stor age and charging of this small lightweight device.
REQUIREMENTS
The personal alarm requires our inclusive Android/iOS mobile app plus our subscription service to function. We recommend charging it regularly using the supplied lead or optional charging base (sold separately). The alarm will announce a reminder aloud when it needs charging.
Additional accessories are available separately on enquiry.
Camera
Responsibly keep watch over those you care about most with our internal camera. This rotating Wi-Fi enabled camera includes two-way audio via the built-in speaker and microphone and delivers clear video. With our inclusive app, you will receive a notification if an emergency is detected (for example a fall) and will be able to instantly view the camera.
To help ensure privacy the camera does not continually stream its feed, but can only be accessed when an emergency alert is detected; at all other times the camera will be completely inaccessible. The two-way-audio helps you to communicate with your loved ones to assess the situation and offer support if needed.
The camera can be rotated by 355 degrees, ensuring you can always get a good view of the room. The included night vision capability has a viewing range of up to 10 metres, enabling clear vision within most rooms even in the dark.
REQUIREMENTS
The camera requires our inclusive Android/iOS mobile app plus our subscription service and at least one sensor, wearable or Smart Hub to function. This is due to the need for an emergency alert to be triggered before remote access to the camera’s feed is allowed.
Sensors
Our home sensors work to give a better picture of what’s happening in the background of the home. What’s the temperature? Did they leave the back door open? Have they made a cup of tea yet today? Discreet and easily fitted with no drilling or wiring required, our sensors combine and send data to the carer’s Care Direct mobile app at regular intervals, displayed in a simple information feed. Notifications are only sent when critical events take place.
Currently our available sensors include smart plugs, door opening/closing monitors, temperature and humidity sensors and motion detection, for everyone’s peace of mind.
They can be bought as a set or individually, making them easy to tailor to individual homes.
REQUIREMENTS
The sensors require our inclusive Android/iOS mobile app plus our subscription service, one Sensor Gateway and at least one sensor per household to function. The Gateway can be plugged into a home broadband router using the supplied cable, or it can connect to a Wi-Fi network. It can also operate through 4G using a Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (available separately from mobile phone providers). The Sensor Gateway is mains powered but the sensors themselves are battery operated.
All sensors come with batteries included and alert the app user when these need replacing.
