We created a Solution for people with dementia or Alzheimer's for the HSE Memory Clinics

The Brief:
One example where Tunstall provided a complete solution to help people living with dementia was for the HSE Memory Clinics. Following a procurement process conducted by the HSE Memory Clinics Tunstall were chosen to create a solution for people with dementia or Alzheimer’s in order to help them live independently and to ensure people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s are at the centre of care practices and service design.
The Solution:
Tunstall Emergency Response worked with the HSE Memory Clinics to understand the needs of the people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s to find the best practical support product solutions to enable independent living. After several meetings and discussions as what would help and support the people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s a pack with the product solutions was created.
The Tunstall pack include the following equipment:
- Care Assist Pager
- Large Bed Pad
- Universal Sensor
- Occupancy Sensor
- White Chair Pad
- Pressure Mat
Tunstall then dispersed these packs to 25 Memory Clinic locations all over Ireland.
